Edward
The location is great, right next to Rosslea Hall and close to the town center and Gare Loch. The service is top-notch and the cooking is fantastic. Great spot for a wedding ceremony.

Our double room was updated with a magnificent view of the gardens and the Clyde Estuary. The bed was extremely comfy, and the staff were affable people apart from one young male member of staff who may be the barman.

Peter
The breakfast here is fantastic, with top-notch quality food, especially the sausages, and freshly brewed tea.

Excellent staff, beautiful location. good food and atmosphere.
The one and only complaint which unfortunately would prevent us from returning is the church bell tower which chimes every 15 minutes all through the night, this was unbearable and we got no sleep. Talked to the hotel staff in the morning who advised us they had complained but nothing could be done. Very unfortunate as this would be our only complaint about an otherwise great hotel. One other point is that we booked a family room as initially our teenage son was going to accompany us, in the end he couldnt make it. However we were still allocated a "family room" which in reality is a fairly small double, not sure how this can be?? However, the room was perfectly good for the two of us.

Our room had a nice view of the car park and the sea 🌊. the bed was comfy, and we could enjoy both the view of the car park and the sea from there.

Very good food in the bar, friendly staff, nice location.
The carpet in the room didn't seem to have been vacuumed for a long time. There was a thicker layer of dust on the cabinet.

The veiw from the room & the food
The lack of hand rails on short flights of steps & the lack of hand grip for getting in & out of the bath.We are both in our 70s & my wife found the above difficult.

I could not fault Rosslea Hall Hotel as rooms were very comfortable and found staff were helpful and courteous, Scenary is breathtaking and the grounds within Rosslea Hall is an ideal setting for wedding photos. Evening meal was delicious with a good choice of meals as was breakfast which offered everything from full British to Continental. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

Excellent staff and comfort of the accomodations.
Wedding parties did get a little rowdy and the sounds were clearly heard in my room. It did affect my ability to get a good nights sleep on at least two evenings.
